RosNOU delegation in Budapest

In March 2010, an advisory member of the Bologna Supervisory Group (BFUG), European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) held a conference in Budapest and Vienna.

Experts from several countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic states, Russia and Ukraine took part in the meeting.

There were also a delegation representing the Russian Non-governmental Academies Association (ANVUZ) including its chairman, Vladimir A. Zernov, rector of RosNOU, and ANVUZ members Vladimir Petrov, rector of ROSI (Kursk), and Nikolai Zakharov, rector of PSI (Perm).

In the course of open discussions, the experts shared their experience concerning practical implementation of "Bologna" at the national and institutional levels. They also discussed various issues related to this problem that exists in the countries they represent. (For more information see:

Microsoft, LBS, and RosNOU for Higher Institutes of Education

On March 18, a seminar on "Modern Information Technologies for Effective Work of University Teachers was held in RosNOU. Within the framework of this event there was produced a joint program of Microsoft, Live Business Solution (LBS) and RosNOU.

The authors of the program spoke about implementing IT in study materials preparation, studies planning, education and checking process, as well as in research and developing of education materials complexes. The in-depth training program includes an effective preparation for classes on the basis of Microsoft Office tools; a broader range of education options within the information space of a university; acceleration of education organization and checking process due to ICT tools; application of information and communication technologies by teachers and lecturers in their scientific research; arrangement of an integrated information and learning environment at a university.

Such training course helps teachers and lecturers to surmount obstacles and use ICT in their professional activities and every day life.


RosNOU and IS Atlantic (Turkey) Agree on Joint Research
