In the frames of the project «The Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia», the Guild of Experts on Vocational Education and the National Center for Public Accreditation have carried out assessment of Russian universities' educational programs.
The project’s aim is to bring out the best practical aspects in education. As part of the implementation of the project, every year the organizers arrange an all-Russia Internet survey among education stakeholders — representatives of the academic, professional, and student community. The results of the survey are processed and subsequently verified in expert focus groups.
The educational programs are assessed on the basis of such criteria as the existence of public accreditation, the average score in the Unified State Exam to get enrolled in the program, positions in international rankings, nominal scholarships for students, research grants, students' prizes in Olympiads and competitions, and certificates granted to students on the results of the evaluation of their training quality.
In this year’s assessment, 12 of RosNOU’s educational programs got the maximum score and found their way into the list of the best educational programs. It became possible due to the university’s competence approach to ensuring the training quality, extensive experience of its highly qualified teaching staff representing different sectors of the real economy, opportunities for students to gain real work experience at an enterprise, close connection between the educational process and research, and different modes of study.
