RosNOU Rector becomes a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education

On May 27, 2021, the general meeting of the Russian Academy of Education was held, at which 12 new academicians and 14 corresponding members of the Academy were elected.

Rector of the Russian New University (RosNOU) Vladimir Zernov was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education.

The Russian Academy of Education is the legal successor of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences. The Academy provides scientific and methodological support for the implementation of state programs in the field of education, participates in the development and examination of the Federal State Educational Standards, sample programs, textbooks and teaching aids, teaching tools for general and additional education, conducts pedagogical expertise, expertise of pedagogical innovations and carries out a number of other activities.

The meeting was addressed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov and the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.

Our common goal is to increase the competitiveness of domestic education and attract young people to science. We hope that the new academy members will eventually allow us to realize the potential of the Russian Academy of Education even more effectively in cooperation with state authorities, Russian universities and scientific organizations, business and civil society institutions.

The close cooperation of the Russian Academy of Education with scientific institutes helps the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation to develop a modern and effective state policy in the following fields: update the content of education, support children with disabilities and children in difficult life situations, preserve and strengthen the health of schoolchildren.
