What is Diploma Supplement?
The Diploma Supplement is an official document designed by the European Commission, Council of Europe, and UNESCO as an aid to support recognition of national higher education documents in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Declaration “On the European Higher Education Area”.
Who may need the Diploma Supplement and what for?
The Diploma Supplement may be useful to the graduates who are going to:
- continue their education abroad;
- work abroad or in Russia for an international company.
Despite the fact that the Diploma Supplement was primarily designed to alleviate the process of recognition of national higher education documents in EU member states, it is accepted for consideration both in Asian and American Universities.
How to get a Diploma Supplement?
To get a Diploma Supplement, a graduate needs to submit to RosNOU’s International Affairs & Academic Directorate (room 326) the following documents:
- filled in application form;
- copy of the first page of the international passport;
- copy of RosNOU’s Diploma and Supplement to it;
- receipt of payment.
The cost of issuing the Diploma Supplement is 3,500 RUR.
The period of issuing the Diploma Supplement is 30 days after all the required documents were submitted.
