On October 31, 2018, the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) published the ranking of the best universities in developing countries in Europe and Central Asia - QS EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia) University Rankings.
The QS EECA ranking included 300 universities in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine. From Russia, 95 universities were included in the QS EECA University Rankings, inter alia Russian New University (position 251-300). Universities were assessed on several indicators, including international activity, number of academic staff with scientific degrees, effectiveness of Internet resources, academic reputation and employer credibility.
