RosNOU and University of Tuscia to launch double degree Master’s program in Economics

The language of instruction at the program will be English. Students of the two universities will also be able to study disciplines that are not on the curriculum at the receiving university in Russian and Italian languages respectively.

Russian New University (RosNOU) and the University of Tuscia (UNITUS) in Italy have agreed upon launching a double-degree Master’s program in the economic field of study.

On 15 March 2021 RosNOU and UNITUS signed a Memorandum of Understanding in which they agreed to develop international cooperation in the sphere of higher education and scientific research.

The double degree program will allow Italian graduate students to study Economics and Finance Management at RosNOU whereas Russian graduate students will be able to study Administration, Finance and Control at UNITUS. The program will be delivered in English.

At UNITUS, RosNOU students will also have an opportunity to go to classes in Italian that are not on the curriculum. In return, RosNOU will provide UNITUS students with an opportunity to go to extracurricular classes delivered in Russian as well as Russian as a Foreign Language classes.

The double degree Master’s program is to start in fall 2022.

Higher education in the sphere of Economics is in great demand both in Russia and in the European Union. That is why, by the decision of RosNOU’s administration to boost the academic mobility of students, we have chosen the economic field of study for launching a joint Master’s program.

What does the program give to its graduates? First of all, graduates get two diplomas which expand employment opportunities. Having the two diplomas, one may work for a company with foreign capital both in Russia and Italy. Besides, the Italian diploma is recognized in the European Union which means one may work not only in Italy but also in other European countries.

Italian students will be able to study at RosNOU in English. During one academic semester in Russia, they will have a possibility to do the Russian language crash course as a bonus.

Russian students will accordingly be able to acquire skills in spoken Italian as well as hone their English language skills.
