RosNOU takes part in the «Interauto» exhibition

On August 24-27, 2021, employees and students of the Russian New University (RosNOU) took part in the 16th international exhibition of the automotive industry "Interauto", held in Crocus Expo exhibition complex.

On August 25, 2021, the head of the International Affairs & Academic Mobility Directorate of RosNOU, George Gabrielian, and his colleagues - the project coordinator for the Middle East countries Elahi Ahmad Reza, and the international project manager Ksenia Masterkova - met at the negotiating table with representatives of the Iranian automobile company Iran Khodro.

The Iranian side took part in the negotiations:

Saeed Naghavi, head of sales in Russia, Belarus & Armenia region;
Sabina Nobari, Export Director in America, Asia, Europe and the CIS and lecturer at the Southern Tehran branch of the Islamic Azad University;
Mohammad Rezaie, Iran Khodro Advanced Dies Co. commercial and sales manager.

During the negotiations, the possibility of starting cooperation between RosNOU and Iran Khodro was discussed in the field of organizing research and academic projects, technology transfer and innovation activities.

The Iran Khodro company provided an opportunity for students studying Farsi to undergo a language internship and work as representatives of the automobile brand at the exhibition site. Among them was a third-year student of the Institute of Technologies for Humanities of RosNOU (specialty "Linguistics"), Irina Korochkina.

Irina shared her impressions about the practice at the «Interauto» exhibition.

This is a new and interesting experience. I have never worked at exhibitions before. I was in Iran and practiced communicating with people in Farsi only there. There are many representatives from Iran here, many other people with whom I can communicate. This is a new experience for me as a facilitator, or organizer. The work is not difficult, time passes quickly at the exhibition, because we communicate a lot. Here you can improve your skills and learn something new. For example, you can learn a lot about the structure of cars. Let's say I'm not very well versed in the automotive industry, but due to the fact that people are constantly talking about it here, many people come and tell me something else new, then I talk about it with someone in Farsi, I learn new words. That is, it is a very good experience.
