On April 22, 2021, the Guild of Experts in the Field of Vocational Education presented the first subject-specific National Aggregated Rating.
The methodology for compiling the subject rating, as well as the National Aggregated Rating published a year ago, is based on the aggregation of the ratings’ results.
The Subject National Aggregated Rating takes into account six subject ratings compiled on the basis of open databases and meeting the requirements of publicity (full information is available in the public domain), stability (universities exist for at least three years and are periodically evaluated), mass character (at least 100 universities are evaluated):
Subject rating based on the results of professional and public accreditation;
Subject rating “Assessment of the Quality of Training”;
Subject rating by the Hirsch Index;
RAEX Subject Rating;
Subject rating “First Mission”;
Global Aggregated Subject Ranking (Russian universities).
According to the results of the study, the universities included in the rating were divided into five leagues: the Premier league, the First, Second, Third and Fourth leagues. The Russian New University (RosNOU) is included in the top part of the universities of the rating (First or Second league) in nine subject areas.

The decision to set up the ad hoc group was made by the Council of the Russian Rectors’ Union and the executive committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
