On April 27, 2021, the Donor Day was held at the Russian New University (RosNOU). The event was organized by the Volunteer Corps of RosNOU as part of the National Health Development Fund's "Reach the Hearts" campaign and was held jointly with the Blood Center of Russia. A total of 55 people took part in the campaign:
Law Institute — 20 people;
Institute of Information Systems and Computer Engineering Technologies — 9 people;
Institute of Economics, Management and Finance — 7 people;
Institute of Technologies for Humanities — 7 people;
Institute of Psychology and Pedagogics — 6 people;
Institute of Business Technologies — 4 people;
Employees — 2 people.
During the campaign, 24,750 ml of blood was collected. 30 people donated blood for the first time, the rest were experienced donors.
The most experienced donors:
University employee — Ekaterina V. Tikhonova, leading specialist of the Department for Work with RosNOU Branches (11 times);
3rd year student of the Institute of Economics, Management and Finance – Artem Kluch (9 times);
3rd year student of the Law Institute — Ruslan Kipkeev (5 times).
The most active were the students of the Law Institute, who made up almost half of the participants of the campaign, many of the students of this institute were among the volunteers.
The Department of Youth Affairs of RosNOU thanks the Volunteer Corps (head Lolita Tulkibayeva, a 2nd year student of the Institute of Technologies for Humanities) for their help in organizing and conducting the charity event.
