The Directives on the Scientific Board were developed in accordance with the Federal Law of 29 December 2012 No. 273-FZ “On Education in the Russian Federation” and the Charter of RosNOU. They were affirmed at the conference of representatives of RosNOU’s teaching and academic staff and employees on 28 August 2019. The RosNOU Academic Board was accredited by the attestation Council of the Ministry of Education of 16 February 2000 and since then the Board carries the right to nominate the University’s teaching staff for the scientific degrees of professor and associate professor in their fields of academic work.

The Academic Board was accredited by the decision of the attestation council of the Ministry of Education of 16 February 2000 and therefore it has the right to nominate the University’s teaching staff for the scientific degrees of professor and associate professor in their fields.

The members of the Academic Board are: the Rector, Vice-Rectors, scientific supervisors and executive directors of the Institutes, heads of departments, leading teaching staff. Among the members of the Academic Board, there are 10 Doctors of Sciences, 13 Candidates of Sciences, 3 corresponding members, 3 Honoured Workers, 3 State Prize winners, 12 Honourary Workers of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation.
