On June 15, 2021, the RUR rating agency jointly with Clarivate Analytics released the subject ratings for 2021.
In natural sciences, the Russian New University (RosNOU) is ranked 604th among 729 universities in the world and 45th among 62 Russian universities in the ranking. The first three places in the world ranking are the California Institute of Technology, Princeton, and Stanford Universities. MEPhI is in the first place among Russian universities, MIPT is in the second place, and Tomsk State University is in the third place.
In terms of the quality of natural sciences teaching, the Russian New University is ranked 350th in the world. RosNOU is placed 720th in terms of the quality of research in this field, 666th in terms of international cooperation, and 243rd in terms of financial stability.
In the RUR technical sciences ranking, RosNOU is ranked 605th in the world among 790 universities and 37th among 80 Russian universities. The leaders of the world ranking are Oxford University, California Institute of Technology, Peking University. The top three universities in Russia include ITMO, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Tomsk State University.
In terms of the quality of technical sciences teaching, RosNOU is ranked 331st in the world, in terms of the quality of research — 748th, in terms of international cooperation – 695th, in terms of financial stability – 283rd.
RosNOU entered the RUR subject rating for the first time in natural sciences, improved its result in the world by 74 positions (in 2020 — 679th place), in Russia — by 11 positions (in 2020 — 48th place).
