The Guild of Experts in the Field of Professional Education has divided 687 universities into 10 leagues.
The National Aggregated Rating ranked RosNOU above 516 Russian universities.
On June 8, 2020, the Guild of Experts in the Field of Professional Education presented the third version of the National Aggregated Rating. The compilers took into account eight Russian university rankings:
National University Ranking — Interfax;
"First Mission" Rating (based on the project "Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia»);
RAEX University Rankings;
Rating by the Hirsch index;
Rating based on performance monitoring data;
"Assessment of the Training Quality» Rating;
Rating based on the results of professional and public accreditation;
"International recognition" Rating.
After aggregating the indicators of these eight rankings, 687 Russian universities were divided into 10 leagues:
Premier League — 38 universities;
First League — 67 universities;
Second League — 76 universities (RosNOU is placed here);
Third League — 94 universities;
Fourth League — 108 universities;
Fifth League — 90 universities;
Sixth League — 90 universities;
Seventh League — 57 universities;
Eighth League — 63 universities;
The Ninth League — 14 universities.
As well as a year ago, the Russian New University (RosNOU), entered the Second League of the National Aggregated Rating.
In total, there are 181 universities in the Premier League; the First and Second leagues brought together 179 public and two private (in addition to RosNOU, MosSU entered the Second League) universities. In the next seven leagues, there are 516 Russian universities — 326 state and 190 private ones.
RosNOU’s Rector Vladimir Zernov becomes co-head of joint ad hoc group to develop Three University Missions Ranking
The decision to set up the ad hoc group was made by the Council of the Russian Rectors’ Union and the executive committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
