On June 15, 2020, the RAEX rating agency (RAEX-Analytics) published the ninth annual rating of Russian universities.
When compiling the rating, three main indicators were taken into account:
quality of education (level of teaching, international integration, resource provision, demand among applicants) – 50%;
demand for university graduates among employers (cooperation with employers and the quality of graduates' careers) – 30%;
university research activities (innovative activity, scientific achievements, research infrastructure) – 20%.
The first five positions in the ranking were taken by Moscow State University, MIPT, NRNU MEPhI, St. Petersburg State University, and Higher School of Economics.
The Russian New University (RosNOU) entered the 100 best universities of the country for the ninth time in a row. This year, RosNOU took 91st place, rising by four positions compared to last year.
Experts rated the conditions for obtaining a quality education the most – according to this indicator, the Russian New University was assigned 62 ranks among all Russian universities.
Rating Agency RAEX
Rating Agency RAEX Russian credit rating agency included in the register of credit rating agencies of the Bank of Russia. In 2014,«Expert RA» creates a holding structure, «International RAEX Group (RAEX)» to develop business in foreign countries. In 2015, «RAEX Analytics» (RAEX), which publishes the RAEX Rating Review magazine, was separated from Expert RA.
RosNOU’s Rector Vladimir Zernov becomes co-head of joint ad hoc group to develop Three University Missions Ranking
The decision to set up the ad hoc group was made by the Council of the Russian Rectors’ Union and the executive committee of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
