The admission campaign 2022 is about to start. In anticipation of it, the National Aggregated Ranking 2022 that ranks all the universities of the country on the basis of the aggregated results of 11 annual rankings of higher educational institutions has been published. The 11 rankings include the National University Ranking by Interfax, First Mission ranking (the ranking is based on the project «Best Educational Programs of Innovative Russia»), RAEX University Ranking, the ranking based on h-index, the ranking based on the Efficiency Monitoring data, Education Quality Evaluation ranking, the ranking based on the results of the professional public accreditation, International Recognition ranking, Forbes Ranking, National Recognition ranking, and Superjob ranking.
The National Aggregated Ranking helps prospective students to navigate while choosing a university and objectively assess educational institutions. The National Aggregated Ranking 2022 includes 694 educational organizations of Russia and 197 of them are private.
Russian New University (RosNOU) got into Top 200 universities in the country, and among 137 universities in Moscow, RosNOU was ranked 34 — 54.
For a few years in a row, RosNOU has been maintaining its leadership in the non-state sector of education taking the first place among private educational institutions in the National Aggregated Ranking 2022, 2021, and 2020.
Russian New University has improved its positions in the First Mission ranking and the ranking based on the results of the professional public accreditation.
According to Lyudmila Y. Mikhalchenkova, RosNOU’s Adviser to Vice-Rector for Education, the university has been actively engaged in obtaining professional public accreditation of its educational programs since 2021. Though this kind of independent assessment of educational programs' quality is not obligatory and is carried out at the initiative of the educational organization, it allows having a more objective look at the educational programs of the university from the perspective of the academic community and employers, evaluating the university’s achievements, and adjusting its activities in order to enhance the education quality and graduates' competitiveness. Today, 15 educational programs at RosNOU have already undergone through the procedure of professional public accreditation and been highly praised by experts which strengthened RosNOU’s positions in the First Mission ranking and the ranking based on the results of the professional public accreditation.
