The Humanities Institute of the Russian New University (RosNOU) was established in September 2021. The new Humanities Institute of the University integrated RosNOU Law Institute (est. in 1992), with the Institute of Psychology and Pedagogics and Institute of Technologies for Humanities (both est. in 1998).

The Humanities Institute has  Psychology Laboratory,  Law Research Laboratory, Computer Translation Laboratory, and eight Departments: 

• Department of General Psychology and Labor Psychology; 
• Department of Special Needs (Correctional) Education; 
• Department of Pedagogical Education; 
• Department of Theory and Practice of Translation; 
• Department of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication; 
• Department of Private Law; 
• Department of Public and Criminal Law;  
• Department of Theory and History of Law and State. 

The Humanities Institute offers educational programs at three levels: Bachelor degree, Master’s degree, and Ph.D.
