Our university and Shandong Vocational and Technical University of International Studies are young private higher educational institutions – ours is just thirty years old. We are positive that cooperation with the Chinese colleagues will help our students improve their level of training and succeed in all competitions. We rejoice in the success of SWUT and hope that together we will be able to multiply each other’s achievements.
Зернов Владимир Алексеевич
Rector of Russian New University
For many years, China and Russia have been maintaining close ties in different spheres, especially in the sphere of education. Russian New University is a young and modern university which has a lot to teach in terms of arrangement of disciplines and development of academic chairs. Today’s signing of the agreement has marked the beginning of our cooperation. We hope that in the near future we will launch several significant projects contributing to the development of our joint endeavors.
Du Lin
Rector of Shandong Vocational and Technical University of International Studies
Previously, collaboration between RosNOU and Chinese universities has only been in the form of student exchange programs in the fields of Linguistics and Practice and Theory of Translation. The new agreement allows students to get Bachelor diplomas of the two universities in other fields of study as well. In the context of the rapid growth of economic relations between China and Russia, there will be a high demand for specialists who are not only fluent in the two languages but also have a deep understanding of the countries' cultures, historical legacy, and modern development trends.
The agreement has marked a new peak of 20-year relations between RosNOU and Chinese universities. It became possible due to a number of factors, and one of the most important of them is that this summer the Chinese Ministry of Education included RosNOU into the list of recognized universities.
