Vladimir Zernov and Alexey Tyrtyshny take part in the Association of Law Schools' meeting

On April 2, 2021, the Rector of the Russian New University (RosNOU) Vladimir Zernov and Alexey Tyrtyshny, Deputy Vice-Rector for Research at RosNOU, took part in the general meeting of the Association of Law Schools. The meeting was organized on the basis of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Participants of the meeting:

• Co-chairman of the Russian Bar Association - V. N. Pligin;
• Advisor to the Director of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences - A.V. Gabov;
• Director of the Personnel Policy Department of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation - A. A. Svistunov;
• Chairman of the International Union of Lawyers - A. A. Trebkov;
• Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Union of Lawyers - T. A. Soshnikova and others.

At the meeting, the participants discussed the following:

• All-Russian scientific and practical conference on the topic: "State, Problems and Ways to Improve the Quality of Legal Personnel Training»;
• Results of the work of the Association of Law Schools conducted for the period from 2016 to 2021;
• Results of the audit commission's audit of the financial and economic activities of the Association of Law Schools in 2020;
• Election of the President of the Association of Law Schools;
• Election of the Executive Director of the Association of Law Schools;
• Election of the Presidium of the Association of Law Schools;
• Election of the Audit Commission of the Association of Law Schools;
• Organizational issues.

Vladimir A. Zernov was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Education and Science. Alexey A. Tyrtyshny was awarded a Letter of Appreciation by the Association of Law Schools.
