The Russian New University (RosNOU) took part in the First Forum of Rectors of Russia and Thailand "Education of Russia and Thailand: Dialogue with the Digital Society", which was held in an online format from March 1 to March 5, 2021.

On February 20, 2021, the Russian New University hosted doors open day in the face-to-face format.

On December 18-19, 2020, the all-Russian scientific and practical online conference with international participation "Languages of the Peoples of Russia in the Context of Translation Theory and Practice: Research Results, State and Prospects of Development" was held.

In total, the best universities in 29 countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, including 121 Russian universities, were inserted in the rating.

One of the main topics of the conference was the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on business processes in various sectors of the economy.

On 26-27 November 2020, Russian New University together with the Institute of Radio-engineering and Electronics by the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) held an international online conference dedicated to fundamental issues of biomedical radio-electronics, its interdisciplinary approaches and current challenges.
